Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Client & Media related:
Managing day-to-day client activities
Attending and participating in client meetings
Proactively identifying opportunities and ideas that will generate visibility for clients
Identifying speaking engagements for clients and assisting with preparation of key personnel
Taking full responsibility of the successful running of each client
Ideating, identifying, and executing brand collaborations, both offline and online, related to consumer
marketing or PR activities
Creating content for press releases, media queries, feature stories, spokesperson briefings, FAQ
documents, byline articles and keynote presentations
Measuring and providing reports for each client on a monthly/quarterly basis
Owning media and influencer outreach including identifying new journalists/influencers and building relations
Managing press relationships to secure coverage for releases, events, announcements in print, broadcast, and online media
Monitoring media including newspapers, magazines, broadcast, news wires, social media sites and blogs, and identifying opportunities for clients
Maintaining and updating media lists
Assisting in business development and providing inputs to new business pitch presentations (ideation and creation)
BRANDit related:
Researching, writing, and proof-reading content generated by team members, when required
Content development related media queries, interview requests, speaker opportunities, guest
columns and more for the CEO, on need basis
Contributing towards social media pages of BRANDit, ideation and creation of content for LinkedIn,
Facebook, and Instagram
Contributing to brainstorming sessions across brands
Educational & Professional Requisites:
Bachelor’s Degree in PR, Communications or Postgraduate in PR
Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in PR and Communications
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills
Strong networking with media
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
Flexibility, determination, enthusiasm, and the ability to cope well under pressure
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on more than one project at a time
Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
